Founded in 1973 by Mary Jane Johnson in Tallulah, LA, the boutique grew from a small pharmacy storefront into a beloved women’s fashion destination. In 2006, Mary Jane’s daughter, Amy Chappuis, relocated to Lafayette post-Katrina and helped bring Little Town to its current home at 1116 Coolidge Blvd. 

Little Town prides itself on personalized service and thoughtful customer relationships. Mary Jane often hears that her pieces become customers’ “favorite item of clothing." She emphasizes caring for clients of all ages—helping women find the perfect outfit for graduations, family events, or nights out—and believes that “if your clothes aren’t becoming to you, you need to be coming to Little Town”
